Nothing is ever certain in the world of coaching, but Rocky Papalia figured his job was pretty safe at Cobram.
His team was, after all, sitting second on the Goulburn North East Football Association ladder.
But a phone call Tuesday night from club president Roy Boncaldo shattered that illusion.
Boncaldo reportedly told Papalia the team's performance had been too inconsistent, that it wasn't performing and that he was sacked.
