Survival of sector `hangs in balance'

Shepparton's largest aged-care provider wants Australia's political leaders to commit to new funding for the sector.

Shepparton Villages is a community-based organisation that runs Tarcoola Village, Rodney Park and Kialla Gardens.

It provides independent living and residential aged care for more than 600 elderly people.

Shepparton Villages is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1968 by the Shepparton Rotary Club to cater for the needs of the community's ageing population.
