For nearly a decade, Corop farmer Norm Weeks has looked down on the dry and dusty Lake Cooper.
In 2002, the drought worsened and the lake suffered, with cracks gouging deep into the bed as the water dried up. Before long, it was a dustbowl.
But now, there is a little bit of hope for this current drought _ the shallow Lake Cooper is filling again.
