Trees to add appeal

Kialla West Recreation Reserve will have 500 new trees to go with its freshly laid walking path after National Tree Day on Sunday.

The walking path around the oval was recently finished and organiser Simone Smith said the trees would add to the appeal of the small, secluded reserve.

``We got the path laid over the past two months _ with some trees there, it will certainly improve the area,'' she said.

``I've had about 74 replies so far to help on the day, so I'm hoping for about 100 people to show up by the time the community chips in as well.
